Oct. 23rd, 2017 08:07 pmI would like to be watching Dancing with the Stars right now. But no, the local ABC affiliate insists on showing our terribly-playing racistly-named football team instead. Though at least I can watch Star Wars: Rebels at the proper time this week. Last week I watched the first two episodes at their 12:30am debut, because only the wee hour run times worked with my schedule. Which is how I learned about the existence of Disney XD's D/XP. It seems everyone on that channel not tied to one of the big franchises is downright weird, but their late night commercial habits take it to another level. Or maybe it just came off that way because it was the wee hours of the morning. Not sure what I'm going to do in subsequent weeks, when hopefully I'll get to watch Dancing with the Stars, and they aren't doing early morning runs until possibly Saturday.
Finished Postcards from the Edge this evening. Enjoyed it, but it felt a little strange to read. I think there's a film version somewhere, which I definitely want to look into. Next up is The Book of Dust, which I bought because I happened to be accompanying my sister when she went to buy it herself. We'd just been to replace my iPad, which so far I am pleased with. Especially because I've now been able to download iHeartRadio, and can listen to non-static radio broadcasts again! Listening to MIX 107.3 on it right now still feels a little weird, but hey, this is the future.
