missizzyTomorrow the new blog Culturess on Fansided officially goes live. Except it's up already, with a number of articles published, including my 10 Skaters to Watch Next Season. I am currently keeping a 10 Olympians Who Might be on Next Season's Dancing with the Stars updated to be posted Wednesday, hoping no big leaks/news tomorrow forces me to rewrite it drastically. Those blogs both caused me a great deal of stress; I'm definitely not used to complying with professional blogging style. In the second blog, I hacked my sentences to bits to get the number of overly long ones down to semi-acceptable levels. Tomorrow I will change my twitter bio to declare myself a Fansided blogger for Culturess. This weekend I'll write about the first Junior Grand Prix event of the year for Fansided, and also possibly about Champs Camp.
I'm getting paid for it. Not a lot, but it means I have a second job(no doubt doing my taxes will be more headache-inducing thanks to this), and I am now a professional blogger. I've started to feel the weight already. I'm not sure how heavy it's going to get.
I'll still writing fic, but I suspect my production level is going to do down there. I even resumed editing this evening on the latest podfic I've been working on, one I think may go over ten minutes when it's done. Also looking over my third novel, which is now the one I'm thinking of self-publishing(I was planning to do that with the fourth, but now I think I'll hold it until I see how current British events affects it).
I also might be getting a boyfriend. Autistic, like me, which makes things easier in some ways. I've been on very nice dates with him both the past two weekends. We saw Kubo & the Two Strings yesterday, which was very well done, especially in its visuals. But I don't know if I'll have time for any of that on this one.
