Oct. 4th, 2014 10:00 pmThree drama shows watched this week, not counting the last two minutes of Castle. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., which I'm actually cross with right now for a couple of reasons. Star Wars: Rebels, which I enjoyed, a bit shamelessly. Doctor Who, which I have found mostly mildly diverting, though Capaldi really is brilliant, far more than everyone else involved in the show has been so far, but the end of this last episode aired just now was much better than the rest of it. But I can't remember watching this many shows at once since I was in high school.
Next week, however, most of the week will be spent in the higher pursuit of Jane Austen in Montreal. But even then, one think I'm looking forward to is six whole days off from work, thanks to Columbus Day on Monday.
Did also go out this afternoon, walked in old town and stood on the docks, where the street musician with the glass harmonica who sometimes frequents the place was there to play everything from classical composers to the Star Wars theme, and the air felt perfect. But with the anniversary of dad's death coming up, I couldn't help but wonder when his last time in that place we had all walked to so many times had been. I doubt my mother remembers, or he himself would've remembered.
