Friday night

missizzyAnd so I have finished up my last week of work before my week off, as well as my last full week for a while, probably, since week after next has July 4th and the week after that the furloughs begin. It managed to be a long week, with me even working down to the wire this afternoon, then taking two minutes for one last email check before leaving, which I nearly didn't do, and good thing, since it included a form I had to sign electronically and send to my official supervisor before next Friday!
But now I have a weekend of pho, Mucho Ado, and the man I am soon to part from, sadly, but remains here now, half a week of watching Wimbledon, seeing the dentist, and preparing for the Jane Austen conference, and then a weekend of Pride and Prejudice in Chapel Hill. Meanwhile, dad's doing well and can even start taking nutrients by mouth again after we get back(though meanwhile mom and I experiment with cooking. We tried to bake potatoes for the first time this evening. Not a success unfortunately).
