missizzyAt this time last week, I genuine did believe I was likely to keep my job at least for the rest of this year. But now...well, I don't know. It wouldn't really save that much money to shut down the library during this fiscal year; because of the ways we both receive and spend money most of it's been committed already. But common sense is no protection of anything these days.
I'm not worried about having to send in five things I did this week on Monday. But I'm kind of worried I'll have to do it every week, and if nothing else, that's just going to be bad for my mental health.
I've also got to renew my driver's license. The notice from the DMV arrived in the mail yesterday. Although for it to be of any actual use to me, I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to REAL ID it. I think I've got the needed documents for it, though. Maybe even a backup document or two. Also there's no more simply renewing online. I actually have to go to the DMV, which is going to be pain, though there is one I *think* I can get to on my own.
