missizzyWe have now prepared a packet to send to the Department of State, with a letter explaining I can't fill out the form again without information from the document they demanded I give up when I sent the first form in, and even giving them options of what they want to send back to me. I don't have much faith in them taking any heed of this, though. But if they don't, we'll be able to say we did all we could to get out of this Catch-22 on our own, and I'm holding out hope that will help later in this whole saga.
Attended the OTW Board discord meeting this afternoon. Not the first one I've attended, but a lot has happened since the last one, and it seemed they hadn't quite realize that this would inevitably result in a lot more attendees, and an even bigger increase of attendees that are rather pissed off at them and really don't trust them either. Honestly, by the time they had to restrict posting just to get any business done, and people were reacting with turtle and snail emojis to their comments about fixing things and various comments with letter emojis spelling out things like YIKES, FIXPLS, and WHEN, I just started cracking up, because sometimes, there really is nothing else to do. I've read through the initial submissions by the candidates in the upcoming election, and some of them sound promising enough, though of course how they'll cope with the reality of trying to change such an organization is hard to predict.
