missizzyIt's a handful of hours since I ended up getting shots for the flu and omicron both, one in each arm. It's currently mildly painful to type, more as I go on, but I suspect the real pain hasn't set in yet.
It's also a couple of days since my brother-in-law had cancer surgery. Right now he is considered to be cancer-free, and has been told he won't even need radiation. There's a follow-up appointment a couple of weeks from now, of course. So right now we are all resting and being optimistic about our health, although it remains difficult to be optimistic about much else these days.
