missizzyYesterday morning I stepped out the shower and was promptly hit with the worst neck/pain I've suffered from in some time. It was a good thing I'm still teleworking on Fridays. I'm currently on painkillers, and am not in much pain, but the disadvantage of that is I don't really know what state my muscles are currently in. After this morning's grocery run I may stay in all weekend just to be safe for multiple reasons.
(And that afternoon I learned that next week the library will have to ship off our copy of an old Websters dictionary nearly a foot thick. I've already warned the receiving library there may be a delay, until we have someone on site who can pack it without risking serious injury.)
This morning while wandering through YouTube livestreams I ended up watching streams of planes taking off from two different airports. Made me nostalgic for a time when flying was fun, before capitalism wrecked it up, and the pandemic made it risky. Still, I suspect my upcoming return to it might not be entirely unpleasant.
