The train in seemed to have about as many people as yesterday. The train back to King Street was maybe a little emptier. I walked from there; I needed the exercise. I had gotten everything all set for teleworking, and five days off before I actually had to do it. Then when I was making dinner I realized that after two days of remembering to put my glasses in my purse before leaving, in case I couldn't come back the next day, I had left them there today! I just ordered a new pair. Normally I don't wear them at home, but I can't do that to my eyes for a month, let alone longer. I even paid for expedited shipping. FedEx received the shipment info for my copy of The Explorer's Guide to Wildemount over 24 hours ago and nothing's happened on that since, and I can wait plenty of time for that, but not for my glasses.
I also cancelled the flight my sister and I were supposed to take tomorrow. I'd been hoping they'd cancel it and maybe refund us after all, but then I gave up on that. And then Trump apparently decided closing the Canadian border might help get him reelected. Though the Canadians had already barred us, so...
