(no subject)

So this week, for the first time while playing Baldur's Gate, I had a failure that I let stick, instead of trying to do it over. Well, I did the segment over, but the failure happened both times. And it was actually a mixed success, since I actually did save all but four of the prisoners. It was just that those four included the most important of them. It also basically required me to write another fic.

( But then it was the middle of the night, and he was awake again, and he didn't know how to he could get back to sleep, with the sharp, hollow ache that was currently filling his chest. )
