(no subject)

After spending the week discussing it with my sister and myself, today my mother finally insisted she didn't want to go to San Diego with us. She even offered to pay for our extremely expensive hotel rooms in full, since we got them for her sake, and it's kind of way too late to get anything else at this point. I still think she could have a much pleasanter week than the one she was envisioning, and I definitely don't like the idea of leaving her here alone for that long, but we have given up on trying to tell her so.
My sister is also now asking if I have packing cubes or if she has to bring her extras over on Monday. I have never even heard of such things.
