(no subject)

This week has been one which started with encouraging signs, but then we kept getting hit by setbacks, such as mom pulling a muscle in her leg, or just getting way too stressed over having to get both phone and laptop replaced/upgraded. (I got my phone upgraded too, and am very much *not* amused by Apple now doing away with the button on the bottom! Plus us the change in USB ends in the new chargers so we now can't plug them in, but apparently that's more Europe's fault.) This morning I tried to console myself by finally giving into temptation and buying the new Good Omens audiobook, which so far is much as I expected. It was honestly kind of strange, actually hearing Neil Gaiman's voice for the first time; he reads the forward.
