Feb. 25th, 2023 07:03 pmWe had snow today, with the flakes being large at one point, but they didn't stick; we were too far south for the actual storm. It's only the second time this winter we've had real snow, and it's very much looking like it's going to be the last. I'm even trying to record my current song now, before pollen season shows up to wreck havoc with my voice. (I'm starting to fear I might not manage it, though.)
Latest thing I have had to explain to my mother: Pamela Anderson. Apparently there was an article in the feminist journal she's started getting that mentioned her. Of course my own knowledge of Baywatch is extremely limited, although I've seen her on Dancing with the Stars instead, where, I made sure to note to my mother, she showed herself to have a very genuine performance ability, if not always the best ballroom dancing skills.
My new external CD drive arrived today. I actually haven't tried to copy anything using it yet, but I did confirm it can read at least one of the CDs the computer's on CD drive couldn't. (There were too many of those; it got painful.)
