(no subject)

This morning I finished my yearly rewatch of Christmas Eve on Sesame Street, which I did a little early this year in honor of Bob McGrath. There's a lot in it I can appreciate way more as an adult, very much including Bob and Linda's relationship. I didn't even realize when I was younger that she and the kids were surprising him, teaching each other his song, and now I can truly love his reaction. Both the original songs in that special were true classics, but "Keep Christmas with You" really sticks with you afterwards.
Mom and I just got the tree and decorated it, and we may or may not go buy her lamp today. So now it feels like the season's truly beginning. I've started a rewatch of The Night Before Critmas too, but that one's going to take a while.
