Another shutdown

Once again my metro route is largely shut down, although this time the actual shutdown part is so they can do final preparations before opening up the long awaited Potomac Yards station. And as has become my custom, I am taking the first workday of it off to avoid any messes that happen on it. Though it has been suggested to me I take my normal bus the other way to the Mark Center and take the Pentagon shuttle from there, and nowadays that's allowed to use the HOV lanes and avoid the traffic jams it used to get caught in during the morning rush. I think I may try that Wednesday.
Meanwhile, I've got time to post this.
