Feb. 20th, 2022 12:24 pmThursday night, when I first saw the runtime on this week's episode of Critical Role, I was a bit put out, since five hours meant it would interfere with my watching Cain-Gribble & LeDuc's Olympic debut, which I remained determined to do, and give me less time to finish The Legend of Vox Machina. Indeed, I only finished the latter after my workday Friday evening. But it did mean there was lots of good stuff to watch, especially since it was about halfway through episode 10 that I realized that while I'd been enjoying the hell out of the series, it was only now it was getting really, really good. ( It even saved the best for last... )
And while it was a little awkward trying to watch Cain-Gribble & LeDuc while this week's episode wrapped, ( it was worth it... )
I'm also now nearly done watching the episode backlog; I'm two hours into episode 76. Of course, hearing Matt talk about Uthodurnian chimneys, one must now wonder how in the hells they clean them out-which we now know was not something our dear DM would've thought about at the time.
