Back at home
Jan. 14th, 2022 04:17 pmAfter six months of happily doing without all the comforts of home during my workday, I have to admit it was nice having them back. Especially since I've found myself sleeping more lately,to the point it's a little worrying, so it's a relief to at least not having to worry about oversleeping. And of course, my workday ends much earlier, especially on days like this one, where we also got the 59 minute rule. Also, I can keep the room warm, which never seems to happen in government buildings.
As of right now, my D&D group is hoping to meet once again next week. I may or may not even visit Old Town this weekend, since I can get there on foot without even running into very many people until I actually get there. It'll probably end up depending on the temperature outside.
At least I still have things to watch, and may even be spared having to deal with Novax Djokovic while watching the Australian Open next week. And I will turn the Olympics long enough to watch Ashley Cain-Gribble & Timothy LeDuc's first skate; they've earned that much, what with making history.
I'm also nearly done catching up on The Mighty Nein; I'm halfway through episode 70, and I've seen it all from 79 onward. It's been fun watching the final pieces come together from before that.
