That didn't take long

Went on a short trip out today to get myself a new toothbrush, and already the phone's music app is acting up again. Not as badly as it has been, and I'll give it this week, but I'm pretty sure I'm just going to have to replace it, preferably before I go to New York. Unless it turns out the phone is doing it because I'm apparently keeping the volume too high for my health-which I am doing because everything's so quiet coming out of my current headphones sometimes I can't hear my podfics if the bus or train I'm on is too loud, even when the phone's volume is on the maximum. Although at least the phone admits it's thus turning the volume down without my consent. (I very nearly gave in and bought Apple headphones this time. Then I saw the price tag. I am never paying *that* much for headphones.)
There's too much to do before New York as it is. My sister said we'd figure the hotel and train ride up this weekend, but it's Sunday afternoon I still haven't heard from her...
