Shot on Friday!

Checked my email during my lunch break today, and was greeted by emails from my medical provider directing to make an appointment before the end of the week to be vaccinated; apparently they have declared me eligible ten days early. Thus we had a bit of a repeat of the morning they sent those emails to mom back in January where we rushed to get the time booked. But that's not even the only thing that's got scheduled this morning; mom's taxes are also sorted, and earlier in the morning set the time tomorrow to go in and get everything finalized. We booked for Friday.
So in two days time, I will get the a shot for the first time in nearly ten years, after the last one was followed by my collapsing to the medical facility lobby floor ten minutes later, convinced I couldn't breathe. I've never even had an anxiety or panic attack otherwise, and I've even had it suggested to me I went into anaphylactic shock, but when a doctor hooked me up to a machine she promptly informed me I was getting full oxygen, so...it was also a shot to the hip, and I'd had plenty to the arm before then. But yeah, I am very glad they do an observation period after injection. This is going to be nerve-wracking as it is.
