Four days off

I suppose it's easier when in your entire life, you've maybe gone somewhere for Thanksgiving twice, and one of those times was just across the street. I typically spend the day watching the parade and the MST3K marathon, before going to sleep early for the NHK Trophy, and all three of those things are apparently still on in some form or other. The main difference for me this year is I'm taking Friday off, because while Black Friday in a quiet office is a rather pleasant thing, logging onto the work laptop this Friday would just be depressing. Also, I'm likely to post a pair of Shadowgast and Vaxleth smut pieces that are getting a pretty similar feel in some ways.
And I'm going to have to not think about what's to come of all this. I've started listening for sirens at night when I go to bed, and I've definitely been hearing them.
Still, there is one thing we might all be thankful for, except we still have to wait two more months to be secure of it.
