(no subject)

Had a phone conversation today with a guy from OkCupid, since I'm not risking actual dates right now. He was a guy who worked in the Mark Center and had even been to the Pentagon library, but many years ago. It was very nice to have a proper conversation with someone besides my mother, and I liked him well enough. We're even hoping to do video calls, but my webcam still hasn't arrived...it was a pretty eventful day in general in this household, since my mother also did a presentation on an Anthony Trollope novel to the members of a London-based Trollope society. At 12:30 our time, so we had to run out and get our groceries early, but that was probably a good thing, because they're now limiting how many people they let into the store. While the posters proclaiming masks mandatory have vanished, which makes me fear they're making it harder for everyone rather than put their feet down on those assholes that still aren't wearing them. Also, they're no longer sanitizing the carts for us, though why they've stopped that I'm less sure.
I'm now attempting to record my song before I return to the Pentagon. Unfortunately, while I've gotten through it clean in rehearsal, I haven't been able to do so while recording yet.
