And that's over

Another thing that made Tuesday a very long day for me was learning our chief librarian is departing for personal reasons. Yesterday was her last day. She gave me her email address and told me to keep in touch, and then that she meant it, and I want to, but I've got no idea when I'm supposed to email her. She also invited me to come to game nights in an Arlington library, but I'm not sure getting there and especially getting home would be all that practical.
I also spent much of the week waiting for answers to the messages I put out as to why my tickets for Worlds in two weeks never arrived in the mail, and looking for an appropriate phone number. My sister finally found one on her e-tickets and I called that, and now I have e-tickets too. Now I just have to hope the event doesn't get cancelled, and that I don't catch my mom's cold, since they'll probably never let me into Canada if I do. Hell, now that it's confirmed the corona virus is in our area, I'm not sure what's going to happen next.
This weekend, meanwhile, I must finish up my final drawing for the art class. That may take much of it.
