(no subject)

Mom and I tried to sign up the Jane Austen conference in Williamsburg October yesterday, but we weren't able to until the evening. By which time it was full, and they put us on a waitlist, but insisted often everyone on the waitlist gets in. Still, this is the kind of location that makes me think this year's going to be a popular one. She now talks about submitting a proposal for next year's conference, since she did get once accepted back in 2010. She even suggested I consider it, but I suspect I'd need some sort of scholarly history to be taken seriously.
I actually got home a little earlier than I have been today, and was even lucky enough to spend almost all of the big deluge we got within the two buses I was taking. But I'm more worried about tomorrow when I want to get home in time to finish eating in time for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but I always ended up leaving the building later on Fridays, when I got to the gym. The past couple of weeks we've gotten out 59 minutes early, but on the week we don't, I fear a very great headache indeed.
