Jun. 1st, 2019 10:40 amI haven't been the only member of the library staff suffering headaches; the chief librarian has similar issues. I think I only came to appreciate that on Thursday, when we both had throbbing heads-and then she was actually able to provide me with some explanation the doctors have all seemed ignorant off: barometric pressure. Especially when the scary thunderstorms struck outside, and the pain subsided for both of us. It's always better to understand more what the hell is going on, but the knowledge is much less comforting when it makes me doubt there's much I can actually do to prevent such headaches. I also wonder if it might be a Jewish thing, because we've both got that blood in us, but that's another thing I can't do anything about.
I've had the headaches of varying severity all week, though they've certainly been less bad since those thunderstorms happened. It's probably also my sinuses, of course, since they definitely have not been quiet either. Whether I will get any recording done this weekend remains to be seen.
