Watched Les Miserables after all yesterday, and I'm glad I did. The final left me much less annoyed with everyone, and the ending was pretty well done, sadness and all. Then I spent the rest of the evening reading the lamentations of a lot of people watching the other final airing on HBO. Although by then, nothing was going to make me sadder than the news that another one of my sister's cats has died. She and her husband are now down to the two they adopted as kittens about a dozen years back. Then, of course, I read about Grumpy Cat dying at only seven-all three cats my sister and her husband have buried were a decade older, and the four living cats our family has left are half a decade older. At least our Purrbot had good company.
