One stressful week later

Mom's computer was finally replaced yesterday. By then she also had broken false teeth and I had a broken remote control. The latter was easily enough replaced this morning once we got to the right place, though running the morning errands in general was hell. The former's a bit more complicated, though the dentist did one fix and for the moment she's carrying on semi-normally.
The week also with my having to explain Biggie Smalls to her, after she saw the new documentary on Ginsburg and wanted to known why she was called The Notorious RBG. That was a difficult explanation, especially since I know too little about him myself. At the end of the week, I had to explain Kim Kardashian too her. That was easy, mostly because she immediately started making assumptions about her that were actually pretty much right. Although I pretty much had to explain Kanye West to her too.
(I tried to go into as little detail as possible about their music. She would have been appalled by it in general, I'm afraid.)
Yesterday evening, I though I'd finally gotten all I need to finally start making Marvel Netflix montages. Tonight I discovered...not so much. Sorely tempted to say screw it and just stick to making skating montages, though footage is drying up there too these days. I've been trying to figure this out for months and months, and really gotten nowhere.
