A Week Later
Apr. 7th, 2018 10:00 pmI did catch my mother's cold. I finally had to face that Sunday evening when things started to get bad, and I made a doctor's appointment, except I couldn't get one until Wednesday. I made it until about 1:30 on Monday at the library before they ordered me to go home. I ended up staying home the next two days. I did see the doctor, but he wasn't of much use. Now I'm feeling much better, but my voice is all clogged up, and I'm coughing all the time. Much more, in fact, than I was when I was feeling sick. I suspect the wildly fluctuating weather is not helping the situation in general.
At least at AwesomeCon I got another piece of artwork for my wall: a picture of baby Groot freezing when Drax glances over at him. I showed it to my mother and she thought it looked very grim, and was afraid Drax was going to kill Groot! I ended up showing her the movie clip. I also attended the panel on the history of fanfic. I'm not sure how good a panel it was, but it was interesting to attend one, since I never had at AwesomeCon.
Tomorrow my Asperger's social group goes ice skating at Kettler's. Not sure how my knee, my nerves or any part of my respiratory system is going to cope with that.
