Learned how to play pool today. I went on a third date, and we braved the sports bar because he wanted to show me how and it had multiple billiard tables. I spotted a speck of mold in a hot dog bun and we are certainly never going back there again, but we stayed to play a couple of games. The hardest part proved to be getting a stick that was taller than I am to properly hit the balls; I actually made a couple of shots when I could, and he insisted I was doing well for a first-timer. Kind of hope we'll have another go at it, if we can find some convenient place with billiard tables that can serve us food without mold. Meanwhile, I've suggested he should come see Old Town. Normally around this time of year it would be too cold for that, but this year not so much...
I'm actually more excited for the #IPTE masterlist of new podfics that will hopefully go up tomorrow than I've been for anything else Christmas-related. I'm hoping for lots of Daredevil podfics, because there need to be more of those in the world(it would be nice if one of them was one I'd written, but I'll settle for any of the ones I've read and loved these past few months).
