(no subject)

Had one of those days when it wasn't even two in the afternoon and I needed the day to be over already. And yet it felt like earlier in the week than it was, maybe because I only had a half-day yesterday. In the process of booking up my weekend(Fringe Festival Antigone Saturday, walking date Sunday), and it still feels like it should be longer away than two days.
Also saddened by the announcement of Felicia Zhang's retirement today. I still remember seeing her live in Amherst at Mid-Atlantic Regionals in 2007, when she ran away with the Novice Ladies title and was the talk of the competition. I think all who watched her that week had the hope she'd be something, though we didn't yet know what. Olympian in pairs was a good thing for her to turn out to be, of course. But you feel she could've still done more, even if she and Batholomay in fact defied the odds to make it to Sochi.
At least it's not as hot out right now. If it can just stay that way for as long as possible...
