Jun. 7th, 2013 08:27 pmDad now out of the Intensive Care ward in and in the Stepdown ward, from which they initially hoped to discharge him today or tomorrow, but his recovery has been a bit too much up and down for that, so now the earliest he comes home would be Sunday. It has been a hard week in more than one way; my first week at work without my longtime mentor who has now retired and I've felt the lack. But I did find time to finish this first part of an uncertain epic.

Notes: This is based off what I read about the Great Manifest Period from the history of the Star Wars galaxy(taking place roughly 20,000-17,000 years before the movies), though I may not keep the history exactly as it is depicted in the EU, especially in more recent sources.
( The Republic's Great Manifest period (20,000–17,000 BBY) marked an increased movement into the Rimward territories of the Slice, which became known as the Expansion Region. )
