Been mostly done with this one for months, this morning finished a sentence, then this afternoon looked again and decided this part was done.

Warning: I think this is my first Star Trek fic in over a decade.
Notes: Meant to be a first episode of an alternate season 7, though since I conceived of the concept so long ago I don't know anymore if it'll even be one season's worth of events.
