Aug. 23rd, 2012 08:00 pmHad a dream last night featuring pieces of pasta that merged into each other to grow large enough to display drawings on, and Bruce Springsteen singing about a little something in a little black dress(sadly, I woke up unable to quite remember what; it might have been a girl, a boy, or even a bird). Maybe I'm eating too much in the evenings. But I seem to really be losing weight now; everything I wear seems more loose.
Parents still trying to retrieve all of grandmother's money. It seemed dad had to do much yelling over the phone today. Probably didn't help matters that the power apparently went out for about five minutes or so a little bit past noon; I arrived home to reset my alarm clock and find a surprise sympathy card from my co-worker, which was certainly nice of her. Unfortunately I can't thank her until week after next, since she works part time and won't be in tomorrow. Parents have now gone off to see some dancing.
And the Junior Grand Prix is officially underway too! Starting to get worried about Jason Brown with the continual lack of triple axel, though noone skated well in the men's short today. Though that many spins being invalidated speaks more of an Overzealous Technical Controller(tm) than of poor execution by an unusual number of skaters.
