missizzyYesterday a new cable box arrived, to properly manage the image for my new big TV, which had been a little smudged under the old non-HD one. Not that I've even turned the TV on since, and am not entirely sure I will at all again until after the election. I've heard it's gotten really bad now, since Virginia is managing to prove a swing state for the second election in a row, and the Senatorial election even more could go either way. Apparently I might be able to record and watch delayed, which I may do for Dancing With the Stars.
My co-worker was sick at the beginning of the week, and still coughing when she came in. Since then I've been paranoid about getting sick whenever I've felt even slightly off. This evening I've got the kind of headache that's really worrying, too. I have been informally told my extension for another year has been approved, but no official notice. Next week those in charge will be out of town, which worries me, simply because this week was too quiet for next week to be the same...
Watched a video yesterday about the recording of live singing on the set of Les Miserables which left me unexpectedly awed. I was looking forward to it as an adaption already, but now I'm looking forward to it as a movie in its own right too.
Too many of my CDs won't play in the stereo. Not sure if it's the stereo's fault, theirs, or both combined. My computer plays them fine, but it might just be able to handle even bad CDs better.
