Nov. 24th, 2017 10:00 pmIt's hard to be thankful for things when the possible end of your internet is hanging over your heads. Although I'll be thankful at this time next year if at that time I can still access this site and A03 and similar. I'm currently slogging through The Punisher one episode a day, wondering if having to pay per day on my phone in the future will result in my trying to watch these seasons two episodes at a time or more. Everyone's going to lose something if the ISPs have their way, and some of those losses will be terrible, but the one I'm dreading the most is the potential loss of fandom. It doesn't help, either, that I'm not sure I'd be able to continue blogging, either. IceNetwork would probably become unwatchable...
I sent faxes to my representatives already. Maybe at some point I'll get myself to call. Apparently there have been a lot of calls. But I do wish Hollywood or some other entity with much to lose would get their damn lobbyists in gear. They're the ones who have them, after all.
Peaceful day today at work; there were only four of us there. Saw Lady Bird yesterday, which was a good movie, even if mom and I were sorry we didn't catch the Jane Goodall documentary we'd wanted to see before it left the theaters.
