I'd hoped to write two ficlets each week, but I should've known that wasn't happening the week of the World Championships. Which mostly left me irritated and sleep-deprived, though I am glad Medvedeva medaled. I finished this one late yesterday.

But first I was trying to figure out who to write next, then I was trying to figure out how to approach her ficlet, and meanwhile I was rather indignant at how the third season of Daredevil just dismissed Elektra when she'd seemed the more likely of the two people in the basement to survive a building collapse. Before that season dropped I'd intended to presume her killed in the snap, but if they killed her, I won't. So this ended up happening.
Also: GIP. Thought I'd never use that acronym again, but I snagged a pretty new nature icon from elasitcella

Got back this week from Milan. I saw a pretty good competition (despite the atrocious men's final group) in a not so nice venue. Also took a side trip to see one of my mother's friends, and got to see the Black Forest from a car window, covered in snow, which made it an even more breathtaking sight than it no doubt normally is. Saw a lot of the old buildings and even picturesque ruins of the city, including, of course their huge cathedral, the Duomo. We even got to go up to its roof, seeing all that intricate masonry up close, and the city from its railings.
I finished two fics, and started a third. The first, which has been bouncing around in my head since seeing Black Panther, I actually finished on the train to New York, since we couldn't find any direct flights to Milan from DC, and so chose to fly out of and into Kennedy instead.
