I've started to upload photos from my trip to Europe to DeviantArt. So far I've posted four, all from Leuven in Belgium: a stream, a rooster, a snail, and a love lock. Leuven was the location of the Irish College where the Anthony Trollope Society has a conference; there were once people there with lots of money who liked Trollope, so they set it up, and my mom was on a panel concerning Trollope and Australia. I attended the conference the morning of that panel, but otherwise spent two days exploring the city, despite the rain. It's a very old place, filled with ancient brick buildings and cobblestones and narrow roads and lanes with almost as many bikes as cars. Very romantic. But also rather chilly; I noticed in the fashion posters all the models were wrapped in warm scarves and similar garments. Almost everybody I had any need to speak to spoke English. I believe the local language was Flemish, though I suspect everyone was able to speak French too.
Have also finally completed my next skating montage and uploaded it to Vimeo, which is currently processing it, but I probably won't post it until tomorrow morning. Have figured out how to do not only transitions in Sony, but also scrolling credits, though I still haven't figured out how to make them looked like I'd like.
